Thermoplastic prepregs

Thermoplastic composites combine the advantages of continuous fibers and polymers, where: • woven continuous fibers bear the mechanical loads of the composite, • polymers distribute these strengths over the fibers and determine the thermal, chemical and part of the impact resistance of the composite. The use of composites gives very high flexibility to optimize the material according to the required specifications. It results in lighter, sometimes thinner, stronger and more durable structures compared to conventional materials.
